Here’s how we started: no factory floor, no manufacturing facilities, no established industry name. Just computers, code—and the conviction that any problem can be solved if you truly understand the underlying process.
Around the turn of the millennium, we witnessed a fundamental shift in the requirements of our industrial customers: production processes became digitally interconnected; sensors transmitted signals, control units captured inputs, and machines exchanged data.
For a long time, our software has controlled sensors, user interfaces, and physical components. What remained was the next logical step: taking responsibility for the entire machine—not just the logic behind it.
A client from the die-casting industry approached us with a challenge for which there was no standard solution: detecting component deformations before parts moved further along the production line—reliably and without exception.
The contract came about not through a formal tender process, but through a conversation: our company founder met a maintenance technician in Crossen who was facing a very specific problem. After the transport of cable harnesses for various VW vehicle models, the fuse boxes had to be manually checked to ensure they were correctly populated—a time-consuming task prone to errors.
